Question alternator...

Ello there,

I am looking for parts to bring my Lexas up to full readiness. At this point, this involves the alternator, the battery seat (pins are broken and battery is rattling something fierce) and the trim between the front and rear windows on both sides of the car. What Part numbers should I look into?

Thanks,

Jack

You can find part numbers on megazip.net

I recommend getting your alternator from Denso. They’re the same as factory for half the price.

Question looked, but

Thanks for the start. I took a look at megazip.net and did not see lexus listed.

Am I to presume it is interchangeable with one of the other car names/brands?

For looking up part numbers use this site
http://www.japan-parts.eu/

For alternator get the Denso 2100166 if you buy from Rockauto see this thread to get a 5% discount code. Avoid brands like Remy, TYC, Bosch etc. they are know to be dead right out of the box or fail shorty.

You need to select "Car Parts>Toyota>Lexus ES"

MCV20 is 3rd gen ES300
MCV30 is 4th gen ES300
MCV31 is ES330
