Programming homelink in car
Hi Everyone,
I have a 99 ES300 with a built in homelink system. I had a genie power max 1500 for around 10 years which is a rolling code system. I was able to program that garage to my homelink system with no issues at all. However that garage became inoperable so I bought a new genie mach force. It still has a rolling code system but it seems to not program at all. I tried EVERYTHING, calling genie, homelink, and even Toyota/Lexus to see if I’m doing anything wrong. I used all manuals and tips and instructions. Unfortunately it seems to not be accepting the code. I also referred to the manuals for my ES. Genie said that my homelink system could be malfunctioning, however I don’t think that’s the case because I can program other remotes to the system. I am wondering has anyone had problems programming their new garage door to their old Lexus and have any issues? And have any new ideas? I even tried disconnecting the battery to see if it was a glitch. No luck.
Thank you
