You bloody well can damage the TB by manually moving the throttle plate.

A doc can know plenty about cars. It seems, way more than you.
I gave the best opinion for your lack of knowledge. As it turns out, it appears that you may have done,if not irreperable, very expensive damage to your car.
If you are asking for help but not liking the answer that you receive, maybe...

I would check if there are other codes to view. My Inova scanner (#3040) shows one code at a time but the screen shows how many codes are stored.

I was at lexus dealer tday and spoke to service dept. and he spoke to mechanic ,asked if I cleared the code that I got with the scanner ,no I didn't so that's next step anyone have advice on how to do it would be appreciated thanks Alex . In meantime I will try to figure it out .

You got to a place like Autozone and buy a code reader that has the erase function. Plug it into the OBDII port and erase the code. If you don't understand how this is done either read up on the net or take it to the dealer to fix.

thanks,I was able to clear the code but it comes back on,so the problem has to be fixed ,car still in limp mode

research says need to reset computer when battery disconnected,may have set code because of tampering with the throttle butterfly,in that case there has to be a reset but not sure how to do it
