Owning a Ford was cheaper...but it was still a Ford!
317...ouch. A full 4 wheel brake job shouldn't even cost you more than 300 in parts and labor alone.

You can also use part # 04466-32050 which are rear brake pads for a 1996 ES 300...

I changed my rear brake pads this evening so I thought I would put the part number out there in case any member would need it. It's a great feeling of accomplishment doing the job yourself...

i had replaced all 4 rotors and pads a few months ago on my 99 es
the rotors were around $50 each and i bought carbon metallic pads for $30 per set. so brand new brakes all around for $260, plus about $5 for a quart of brake fluid to flush the brake lines

That's a good deal. I purchased my Toyota OEM rear brake pads for $50 at Toyota of Glendora and I just checked out irontoad and they have the same rear brake pads for $45...

Replacing a rotor is nothing. A couple of nuts and some banging to get the rotor out? Come on....its like computer guys replacing a harddrive....its not really that hard.
