I think the lights changed a little from 93 to 96. I am pretty sure there is no emblem on the 96 right side as to where the 93 does have it on there. Also I think the color may be a little diff. But what do I know, I have a 95. I hope the info helped, if not, at least I posted something you may not have known. One more thing, you didn't specify which side.

i don't think side matters NVICTIS. because if he had one '93 and one '96 it's pretty obvious that they're different because of the turn signal amber bar.

but i'm not 100% sure on if they fit. i would think they fit just bolt straight on. but i don't think anyone has any proof. it's basically the same as '00-'01 tails on a '97-'99. i don't think we've seen true proof yet.

maybe someone's tried it though. mezoom may know. she's been here for a while

but as for the emblems, it really would look weird. the '93 tails have the ES300 emblem on the tail lights, so your rear end would have 2 ES300 emblems. on the trunk lid and the tails. but someone should be able to fill you in on fitment.

the light will fit but you will need the wiring harness that goes into the car
as there is less bulbs on the 95-96
it has 2 brake bulbs but 92-94 has 3 brake light bulbs
you may also will trip the rear light burnt out indicator on the dash

thanks for the help guys, to clarify i'm looking at a driver side taillight, so the emblem thing is not an issue, but if the brake lights are different then that's sort of cumbersome. there's also a good chance that i can get a taillight from a '94 ES, would that be a better fit for my car?

no, 92-94 are the same, the 95-96 are the same. so you have to get one from a 95 or 96 for it to match...

yup the car wil look real weird with to different style lights
i prefer the smoothness of the 95-96
but you will have to replace in pairs

nah, you wont have to replace in pairs. it's not like the headlights. ive had one of my tail lights replaced by a brand new one, and they are not bad enough to notice that one is newer than the other....
