2016 es 350
Currently have a 2016 ES loaner, and before seeing the new front end up close and in person, I really wasn't sure about it. I now feel it's definitely an improvement. Also, really like the new steering wheel, and the interior trim upgrades. The bigger screen on the instrument panel is nice, but still not sure on the new gauge look. Driving it pretty much feels the same, with the only really noticeable difference being the amount of body roll going around corners. Feels much more stable and tracks better. May be a bit quieter at highway speed, but it could just be that cars without the glass roof are just a little quieter overall. and, the NAV system is SO MUCH better than the 2013 version. I wish there was a way to upgrade it in my car.
One more thing- do only certain versions get redesigned seats? The seats in the loaner look just like mine.

I just test drove the 2016 ES 350 and its a great car. It's between this car and the 2016 Toyota Camry. I currently have a 2000 Toyota Camry with 241,000 miles on it relight now. What are the difference between these two cars ? What are the difference between the 2016 ES 350 and the2015 ES 350 ?thanks

Fit and finish, mechanically they are very, very, very close.
The real question is what's the difference between those two cars and a Camry? The main answer is a longer platform with much more rear leg room.
Beyond that, and the upgraded interior of the Avalon and the much more upgraded interior of the ES, the three cars are nearly identical.

My karma just ran over your dogma

When it comes to the ES, IMHO if you're talking about a highly optioned Camry or Avalon, the jump in price to the ES is negligible for what you get.
Thanks for clearing that up about the warranty differences. You're right about the ES it's really a great value when you compare it to the the high end. Avalon or Camry.
And outside of the brand issue from a prestige perspective, if its something you're going to keep a long time theres something about driving a 5 or 10 year old Lexus vs a 5 or 10 year old Toyota. They stay fresher looking longer, they retain their classy nature, etc.
Oh I see. You're right Lexus still does look good even at 10 years old. I plan on keeping the This car for about 10 year or more if possible.

Funnily enough when I got my ES, I could get a better price than on an Avalon. Lexus was offering a significant incentive that month combining delivery credits and cash buyer credits. Toyota was offering zip all on the Avalon.
Last year, I know the Toyota Highlander isn't a Lexus ES 350 but my Dad tried to buy one and Toyota didn't want to take any off of the price. But he ended up in the a new ES 350.
The only two price quotes that I got on the 2016 ES 350 was off 2,700 which was at the end of February and 3,500 off from a different dealership in March. Both cars are about 45,000 dollars. Are those good prices?
