Does anyone know if the GS Fsport 19s will fit? I know they have the same bolt pattern but I'm unsure of the offset and backspacing.

 

Yes, they will fit.

 

Just make sure they aren't the RWD staggered width ones.

A lot of people complained about the ride quality of the 18in wheels, can't imagine what they would say about 19in wheels.

 

Also keep in mind: RWD vehicles usually require different offsets than FWD vehicles. Because of that, wheels from a RWD car might stick out further than the stock wheels on a FWD car.

Example: I had the winter wheels from my G37 on our ES as I was detailing the stock ES wheels and they definitely stuck out further than the stock wheels. If I had been driving on them Im sure it would have rubbed (or worse) in a few cases.

 

You might check Tire Rack or some other aftermarket wheel supplier for the offset and backspace specs on both models.

 

I've had the same aftermarket wheels on the ES and GS. The only big difference is the caliper is larger on the GS so you'd just have extra clearance on the ES.

 

I did notice the staggered wheels. I guess I wouldn't be able to rotate the tires. As for the ride quality, I did own an MKS ecoboost with factory 20s and the ride wasn't harsh. The gs wheels were going to be my summer set if I could find a reasonable price

 

The offset is what I'm concerned about. A little wide in the back would be fine but the front is another story.....

 

The wheels themselves are also wider as well, so even with the same offset you still might have fitment issues.

I personally wouldn't risk buying them without being able to verify they fit (i.e. physically get them and put them on the car)

 

Exactly what I was thinking. I just would like to go for oem wheels
