Default optima!!

I just installed my optima redtop battery with my stinger platinum terminal connectors. I will post a pic tomorrow. It looks pretty phat and makes me really want to do more stuff to my engine. I am thinking about purchasing iridium plugs on ebay tonight (denso). That is unless anyone here knows something bad about these plugs. They are supposed to increse hp 5-10 with no problem. I would appriciate any info on these plugs for my es.

Sorry, those iridium plugs will NOT give you 5-10 HP on a N/A car. They only have a 30K longevity.

You really won't see anything noticeable...

i don't see HOW those plugs will boost hp 5-10. if they're relatively cheap, and you can afford to be replacing these things, then go for it. are you gonna change the plugs yourself??

Looks like you've got the same terminals I do, I went with the Stinger HPM platinum and silver scheme throughout the wiring. I've still got a plain old battery though, see if I need an Optima once I get things hooked up. Did it fit in the stock brackets without any problems? Looks like you retained the black plastic battery cover, my HID ballast is mounted to it so I'd prefer not to mess with it. Anyway, looks good, sounds like things are coming together for you. I'm still waiting on my alternator, I'll let you know when I get that taken care of if you're still interested.

Different plugs for different applications -- stick with the platinums!

Default Thanks

I did stinger all the way to, I don't know if you can see but I have stinger o awg ran, though its not connected because I don't have my amps and subs in yet. I am almost finished with my speaker box, I have to finish cutting the mirriors for the inside and then off to the interior shop. KYLE, I am definetly still interested in the alternator. I didn't wanna be a pest so I didn't post about it. Some info after you get it would be much appriciated.

I'm still don't know when the alternator will be here, the guy isn't the greatest communicator, if I hadn't read so much on him I'd be worried. I'm gonna start pestering him a little bit soon if I don't hear where things are at. I think it's more of a side job for him and they're made after you order, so it takes a little while to get things done, I'm trying to be patient. It wouldn't be as big a deal if my alternator weren't in bad shape.

Did you run the 0 guage through the interior? I ran a conduit along my frame rail underneath the car rather than try to get that stuff through the firewall and hide it under the carpet, wire that thick is difficult to not leave a bump in the carpet. I'm gonna be starting my sub box after I finish the HID's, which should be tonight, so hopefully my box will be coming together before too long. It feels good to be finally getting things done. I'd love to see some pics of your install when you're finished.

Yeah, its through the interior, but no lumps. It was pretty difficult to run considering its size, but I think I did a good job, and yes its through the firewall. I figured I would have to go through it for my alarm so why not. I am also planning on making a false face for whatever source unit I buy. I did it in my acura and it was great. It appeared as though I had the factory radio in still, and to acces the hiden unit, all I had to do was pull the false face off. I will be posting pics for sure during the actual process. I was reasearching hid kits and wasn't sure if I could purchase any kit with 9006 fitament. I am also not sure on what some good kits are. What are you installing Kyle???? and did you have to retro fit it????

Sorry, didn't read the other post before posting.

Got to love the optima batteries. I have a blue top optima battery in the trunk of my show car. I can go a month w/o starting the car.
