My car died as I was driving, I replaced fuel pump and fuel pump relay, checked all fuses. It cranks but doesn't start, after several tries it starts rough, when accelerate it dies again and doesn't start until after many attempts. With a test light I tested the current to the fuel pump, tester light goes on when cranking but goes off after few seconds.
Has anybody an Idea what else can I do, I was told might be the ECM "brain" but would like to know if anything else could be checked before I spend money on a ECM.
Thanks

Do you have any CEL?
Three things come in mind when engine does not start: fuel, ignition, and air. Assume fuel is good, it could be ignition or air. When cranking, press on the pedal as well to open the throttle body to give it some air.
