My Lexus ES330 has run great. Last nite as I was leaving work i got in to start it. It kept turning over but would not start. To make matters worse, I looked at my key and all my buttons had fallen out. By the way it is a 2005. Any ideas.......

 

Try to see if youre getting fuel. Maybe your fuel pump is shot. It can be a list of things but ill start by checking that, the fuses and relays as well

 

Check the spark as well

 

I'm having the same problem on my 2000 es300. During cold start up, it turns over but dies immediately UNLESS i press the throttle then its good. I replaced the fuel filter just to make sure......still having the same problem. Also, when i put the key to the on position i can hear the fuel pump engaging(2-3 second funny sound). So check if your fuel pump is engaging when key is on the ON position.
