Help! I have a 1999 es300 and am going to take my drivers test on Friday. I just noticed that my reverse lights do not come on. Neutral safety switch is good ( all gear lights illuminate on dashboard no flickering). I popped the trunk and looked at all the wiring, nothing looks bent or anything, it all looks intact. I even bought two brand new bulbs just for the hell of it and they still won't come on. There just isn't any power going to them. Any suggestions? :/

 

If you have acsess to a test light or volt meter unplug one reverse light plug and see if you have power when it's in reverse. If not it could be a fuse, break in the wire or nsw.

 

If the wiring is damaged, it usually gets damaged where it's routed at the hinge of the trunk.
