Performance Upgrades
I own a 1997 ES300 and I wanted to see what upgrades I can throw in it. I was wondering if I have to put on a dual or high volume exhaust if I put a cold air intake on. Any expertise would be much appreciated!

Whats a blower??? So can I just buy 2 leaf blowers and stick them to the intake hole, man that boost will be crazy

All jokes aside, there isn't much of inexpensive mods to make this car go faster. I mean if you wanna feel like you are going faster get an exhaust hahaha
Or you can be like Mr. EEngineer who has magical amounts of cash, then get an Supercharger or be a few who can pull off a turbo kit

ive got a 93 and first things first, i had the motor rebuilt and bored 20 over, next weekend i am having a complete custom exaust, magna flow performance cat, 22" glasspack resonator and a bonsal muffler all fed thru a custom y pipe and 2 1/2" pipe, after that im gonna fab a cold air induction cone behind the lower bumper louvers on left side, cut out a 3" round hole at the bottom of the stock airbox and add a k&n stock shape filter, and the biggest bang for my buck is a 50 shot of nitrus, the breathing will add to everyday performance and the nitrus for when these with their is or nothing attitdue needs a bit of adjustment.

Now I am wondering if joining here was a good idea, ricetastic? Reall now you can do better than that, am I mistaken or is this board designed to share knowledge and ideas? So you got a better idea? Other than the old stand by "sell it and by an is300" ill be in my ride for less than your down payment and 6 monthly payments, oh yeah and the bank cant take it from me when I lose my job as a flunkie at home depot.
