My navigation says it ca not read data disc. I can not eject the disc from the database that is in the trunk. Has anyone had this problem? How can I eject the disc

Can't help with your question. But I think you meant Mark Levinson.

Yes you are right. It is mark not Martin. I read a post with the same problem but no one ever answered it. The post is old. Maybe someone has the answer. I thought of checking the fuse.

Take the cover off and see if you can pull it out that way. Hopefully something inside is misaligned and not letting you pull it out. I had an issue with the CD changer and had to take out CD's manually (once the unti was out and cover off) and it worked just fine.

Something to try, typically a CD drive will have a sort of "reset" procedure to eject even when it thinks no disc is inserted. Lots of in dash CDs will go through a force eject procedure if you hold the eject button down for a long time. Give a try just holding the eject button down for a bit. It sounds like the drive may think there is no disc inserted.

What is your comfort level taking things apart?
Good news it's repairable. Bad news you will have to send it out to be repaired. I had the same problem and had the unit repaired. Cost about $200
