Hey guys, new member here and I just got me a 2001 es300, and I have a couple questions.
How can I tell what "edition" I have? I see there is a few different editions and was wondering how to tell.

Also, the car has 150K miles on it and from what I hear the engines are really durable. What sort of maintenance things should I look into doing now since I don't know the past maintenance
history?

The only thing I see broken is the front cup holder thing that slides out when you push it. Is that a simple thing to fix, and if so, where could I get one?

And finally, there are no Lexus dealers in Vermont, is that going to be a problem to have it worked on and fixed? Some people have said to bring it to a Toyota dealer since its a very similar car and a lot of parts will be interchangeable between those cars.

The Platinum and Coach editions have a badge of the fenders. Maintenance on your car is the same as most other cars such as:
  • Timing belt/water pump
  • Engine oil
  • Transmission fluid
  • Power steering fluid
  • Brake Fluid
  • Coolant
  • Spark plugs/air filter
  • Cabin filter (make sure you check this a clogged one will ruin the blower fan)
Any Toyota dealer will be able to work on your car, the ES300 shares components with the Camry, Avalon, Solara and other models. For the cup holder look on Ebay.
