window switch rolls window down, not up
('97 es300)
a couple of passenger window switches are malfunctioning. They will roll the window down, but not up. I can roll the windows up from the driver side master switches. Obviously, the windows move so the motors should be fine. What exactly should i replace and is there any types of tests? Should i replace the switches themselves, is there wiring that goes along with it that could be bad?

My 98 got same problem before, it was the switch issues. The plastic parts wear and tear a bit, so the contact of the switch did not press hard enough.
Replace or clean the contact the switches everything will be fine.

You could also try resetting the memory by disconnecting the battery. I've had something similar happen on other cars. You have to make sure that all the windows are closed when disconnecting the negative terminal.
