Hello Guys,
So I have a question about the sensitivity of the auto wipers. I read in the manual that you can change the sensitivity with some switch in the rear view mirror, but I can't seem to locate it.
Anyone know how to change this?
Thanks,
Chris Reid

Are you referring to their sensitivity to rain? (that is the dial on the wiper arm) If not, what exactly are you referring to?
Yes the sensitivity to rain. I thought it was the wiper arm as well, but my dealer said that the setting was actually the speed the the wipers would go at (kinda like the intermittent on regular cars).
However if that is indeed the sensitivity, then the wipers must be just really sensitive, as my wiper arm setting is at the lowest set point and it still wipes when there is nothing there sometimes, or when there is very little on the windshield.

As LexRuger said, the sensor is in the mirror assembly, but the adjustment is in the wiper handle. If the least sensitive position is still too sensitive, then there maybe something covering the sensor on the windshield. The sensitivity also controls how fast the intermittent wipers sweep, based on the rain it detects. Just thinking, have you tried cleaning that area? Also you may just want to put the wiper in the off position instead of intermittent until it starts to rain.

Yeah the adjustment is in the wiper arm, the sensor itself can't be touched on the rear view mirror. There should be a switch on the stalk that moves not the whole stalk as I think the ES you push down to set in rain sensing mode and then use the dial for sensitivity.

I had an issue last week where my auto wipers stopped working. Took it into the shop and they found the sensor was not seated correctly. Just in case you start having issues with your wipers.
