Yep, got it from your original message. Just saying it was available on the older remotes. 2 steps forward, 1 step back. Since these "smart" remotes still have buttons, they could have left them as default to open if you hold down the unlock button. Maybe there were complaints about this feature.

 

I would like the dealer to change the head light off delay from 30 sec (default) to like 5 sec. 30 seconds is just way too long and add a option for 10 sec.

 

It's on P859 and it says the Nav and dealer can do it, while in fact the Nav and dealer can't do it.

 

So dealer can't change the number of blinks for lane change?

 

Well according to the manual it says 3 and 6 can change this setting. Which 3 = setting in Nav and 6 = dealer can change. I've checked in the Nav in vehicle settings there is no blinker setting. According to this 2013 ES page http://www.lexus.com/models/ES/ownership/service/ the personalized settings PDF with Nav http://www.lexus.com/pdf/service/ES_with_nav_LPS.pdf also describes the dealer only available options and it's not listed. Could either be not possible or someone didn't do proper QA on the manual along with any other document related
