Default Bought new ES350, planning to change Insurance

Bought new ES350, and planning to change insurance to GEICO due to rate decrease. Previous one is Allstate.

Does GEICO cover OEM parts for in case of claims. while car is new..?

Rate may be a bit high due to this in the link.
As far as OEM parts, sometimes you have to fight insurance and some may have a policy if a vehicle is 12-18 months old,oem parts.I think Travelers Insurance is one.

Forget about Geico. If you have a good driving record, get your insurance from Mercury. They are, hands down, the least expensive insurance in California. I've had them for many years. They provide good service through a network of agents. All of the claims I've had were handled quickly and without hassle. And they pay for OEM replacement parts if you're in an accident. Every time I've compared rates with Geico, 21st Century, Allstate, etc... Mercury is ALWAYS a better deal.

Interesting information, thanks for sharing.

My insurance with Liberty Mutual went up $200 when I switched my car from a 2012 Camry to a 2013 ES 350.... but then changed insurance to Travelers and it went back down $200....

For me, Allstate and Farmers were both cheaper than 20th century and Mercury here in Southern California. I guess it just depends on individual circumstances. I would disagree with anyone stating one is cheaper/better than another, just based on their experience. You need to shop for yourself to get the best data points to make a decision.

good luck, Mike

Actually, if you qualify, USAA not only has the best rates in the country but constantly get recognized as the best insurance company to deal with for all of your insurance needs (I sound like a salesman but I have been with them for 25 years and they are just great).

if you have nav, you likely have theft recovery system. Make sure to tell insurance that this vehicle has this feature, it reduces insurance cost.

Not by much: about $40 to $50 annually

Not with Allstate and maybe other insurance companies in Jersey anyway.
Reason is Enform is a paid subscription service that an owner may not subscibe to, where Lojack is in the car and paid for at delivery..

Good point, best to check with your own insurance company. I have Auto Owners in GA. When I lived in NJ I had Lo Jack in all my vehicles. At that time, NJ Manufacturers Insurance had the best rates but the company you worked for had to be a member, fortunately for me mine was.
