04 ES330 Aiming Headlights
Is there only one screw (8mm) to aim the headlights up/down? I don't have an owner's manual so I can't look it up and already tried searching the forums. Thanks!
do you have OEM HID headlights? I see it in the manual I found online but when I go to look at the headlights, I don't see the screws anywhere. Ugh. Might just have to take the entire headlight out.

I saw that diagram earlier and it doesn't apply to halogen headlamps. That diagram is for cars equipped with OEM HID. I ended up taking out the entire headlamp assembly (a real PITA by the way) and there is only one screw to adjust the headlamps. The halogen assemblies only have the visible 8mm screw to adjust the headlamps although I was not able to change it even after messing with it for a couple of hours.
First of all the adjustment hole and teeth that should allow a screwdriver to adjust..simply didnt work worth a darn on my 2004 es330. I found it easier to use a larger size (sorry dont have size info) allen wrench to insert into the back of the wheels and adjust clockwise to raise the beam. It seems to adjust very slowly and takes alot of turns to make big changes but it works. Its not too hard to judge about where you want it and test it out w a quick drive around the block. Of course counter clockwise lowers the beam. Shine it on ur garage door and put tape across midline horizontally so u know where it started from. An inch or two has big effect so dont go crazy.
