Default Getting ready for 200k miles

So today i hit 197,000 miles in my 2001 es300 and rewarded the car with an oil change, new air filter, tire rotation and a new yakima ski rack haha. A bit early, but i got a good deal on it. Few pics included. Bit pointless, but I'm excited to hit 200k miles and get some use out of the ski rack once it starts snowing.

The pictures are upside down.

Sweet you have finally broken the car in with 197k miles. I'll hit 200k miles in a few months on my RX, still run's like new.

Make sure you take a pic when the odo reads 200k.

EDIT: nvm, the pictures are fixed now...

I'm also nearing 200k (about 192k right now), but my car looks no where near as nice as yours.

p.s.: Your pictures seem to be inverted.

Its obnoxious how meticulous i am about some stuff. I mean there is rust starting to form a little bit under the emblem on the trunk and on the rear quarter panel behind the wheel but most of it is stopped. Also my front bumper is messed up haha

Mine is at that mark same year, as well. I just did the timing belt, water pump, etc. for it. I am glad to see others running just as long. As someone stated before me, mine isn't as clean as yours for how many miles are on the car.

Never mind, your ES looks really clean anyway. Congrats on the 200 K mark!

I am at 112K and feel like I am driving a new car.

Good luck on the 200K.

I just noticed my car is leaking oil, but i don't need to add any oil between 4k mile oil changes? Where is it all coming from

Common culprits are the rear valve cover gasket and the rear main seal. Our '97 ES with 271k miles on it has had a leaking rear main seal since about 120k miles. I can't justify spending the money to get it fixed so I just keep an eye on the oil level. I've never had to add oil between changes.

You mentioned that you had an oil change. I'm guessing somebody else did that for you. The oil leak is probably from the oil filter - it spills out of the old one.
