Great!

Pulled up to buddy's house, and went to shift into reverse, and all of a sudden CEL and trac off went on and reverse is a stand still, as if it were in park.

I'm thinking the solenoid is messed up. Couldn't pull the codes as buddy left the shop and now mu USB-OBD2 sucks and doesnt do anything. UGH

 

Code p0500; speed sensor malfunction... Way off what I thought. Going to diagnose further tomorrow, and maybe get a used one from a local yard here.

well, all is well. Good ole lexus had a brain fart i guess. **** happens, yada yada...

Code was cleared, then taken for a nice rip, O/D was working fine prior, so it was reverse only....

And now it works!
