I have an Alpine w203 with no navigation. I just use it to play cds and watch dvds while driving. It looks clean and is easy to use, I love it.
I haven't thought about changing the background. I like the blue screen but a Lexus background would be clean

Yup I sure did, infact if you go back to page 2 look at my picture showing the wire harness I made and you can see exactly what I did for the bypass. Obviously you have to relocate one of the pinouts then simply ground it. Originally Posted by 01ES300NYC

Also here is a quick pic I took of my splash screen. Sorry its not the best quality as I just used my point and shoot camera, but you get the idea. Looks great I think!!! Having a nice clean in-dash nav really brings out the interior of this car.

Very nice! Could you post a jpg of your splash screen? I need one for a Kenwood I'm installing. Thanks!Originally Posted by JTS06Z06

JTS06Z06: Didn't you have a real detailed step by step for your install ? Including a wood cover ?...I seem to remember one....

My friend is a car stereo installer and he recommends Pioneer if you want everything into one package.
