Default Radio/navigation question

If I wanted to install a factory navigation system from a 2000 GS300 into another 2nd gen GS300 that does not have navigation from factory. What all will I need to do this?

Might as well buy a double din dash kit and a pioneer double din deck that has navigation. The the second generation gs300 navigation are piece of crap! I hate me GPS!

As a sample..I called lexus a couple of years ago to do just this on an SC400 that had the radio stolen, I was quoted 1400.00 JUST for the wire harness that goes from the dash to the rear, no Nav Components or anything, just wire harness....OUCH!

Hey Tom? There is a purple wire with white stripe that runs from the trunk to the head unit. Any knowledge on where that purple wire with white stripe might be located on the head unit?

I saw my head unit and there was a loose purple wire with a white stripe.
