Amp power source to trunk 1996
Has anyone installed a amp and subwoofer in the trunk? I cannot find a void in the firewall so i can run the power cord through the inside. Who has had success? and to run signal and power cords through the car, usually people just pop off running boards. I tried that today, and there is no space to do so, and the carpet is stapled down so I cant go under it. Pictures would be much appreciated
Drivers side engine bay, between the strut tower and the firewall, there should be stock wires goign through it. Run it with those into the fender and then into the car through the rubber boot.

Lift up the carpet after you pull the plastic panels off along the edges of the door holding the carpet down.
Run power on one side of your car and RCAs on the other side or you'll get some strange winding sound like I did years ago.
Pull the back seat out or atleast the back part of the seat and theres a space in the corner to run the rest of the wires to the trunk.
After you pull some of the headlining stuff from the trunk down to expose the metal, sand down some paint and drill a hole for ground or unbolt an existing bolt and sand down some paint and run your ground wires on it.
Good luck!

There is a small space or hole near the pedals you can run some power and remote wires through.
