Exclamation Help!

I have a 1991 ES250, and the headlight adjustment screw is broken. I can't figure out how the heck to get the headlight out to replace it!

Also, I'm ordering a knock sensor for it, and was wondering if anyone has any tips for changing it out? Or is there a DIY somewhere on here that will walk me through it?

For the headlught, it's a pain. I don;t know much on the ES250, but I pulled a headlight off an ES250 in the junkyard months back. I remember I had to damn near pry it out from the bumper. My said said that was the only way he knew how as well. Sorry that I can;t be more helpful with that.

As for the knock sensor, I know on the 92+ ES300, they are located under the intake plenum. How good on you on harder projects?

Unfortunately, we do not have a repair guide for your 1991 Lexus ES250 2.5L MFI DOHC 6cyl

I'm starting to think this is the most rare car in the world, lol

Yeah, the ES250 is definitely a rare bird! I hardly ever see them driving around anymore. Here is what Wikipedia even has to say about it:

"The ES 250 was built from August 30, 1989 until July 5, 1991. Because of its relatively brief production run, the ES 250 is a rare model on U.S. roads today."

Haha, I told hubby I should restore it and keep it forever, might be a collector's item one day! Now... if only I could find parts! And maybe some info to fix it, lmao!
