Default Headlight Tilt

I have a 99 GS400 with the HID lights, but the "tilt" headlight warning light is one. Is the Lexus dealer says the sensor needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if its is easy enough to replace myself. or other options?

Thanks,

Not 100% sure if the sensor is located in the headlight assembly. If it is the entire bumper needs to come off to get the headlight out. There are a bunch of screws to remove on the top (4), sides (6) and bottom ( not sure 8+ ?)

If you are handy and have 10mm deep socket with a 10" extension to get the side bolts out, it's some work, but not that hard.

My dash light is on also but my headlights still do the self leveling at start up...is there an easy way to just turn off the dash light?
