How do i remove the tail lights on a 1995 ES 300

 

Remove the black plastic molding that covers the trunk edge. Remove several plastic clips and push the trunk liner away from the tail light assemblies. There will be several nuts that need to be removed to free up the tail light assembly. (A deep well socket will work best.) I don't remember the exact number and size, probably about 10 mm. There is one nut over in the corner which might not be noticed.

When all the nuts are removed, you can pull the assembly out.
