When it gets pretty hot the left side does not lock/unlock with my remote or but the driver dooor unlocks with my key. Any ideas whats causing it?

 

What about the switch in the door?

 

Check for Fuses/relays that are burnt out. Or worst comes to worst its either both locking mechanisms/motors are done.

 

they still work though when its cold. its only when it sits in the sun for a LONG time like when i park it at my college parking lot for the day its out in the sun i come back it it has a hard time locking and unlocking and only the left side. But when i get home to my garage it locks just fine.

 

I say it's the locking solenoid. Can't find a part # right now.
