Default Difference between 00-01 Platinum?

I was looking at a 2000 ES300 Platinum edition, and was wondering if the 2001 ES300 platinum had any differences in options or came standard with anything different than the 2000's? Thanks

There was a Platinum Series ES only for the 2000 model year: http://www.lexus.com/contact/pdf/2000/2000ESspecs.pdf

There was a Coach Edition ES for the 2001 model year: http://www.lexus.com/contact/pdf/2001/2001ESspecs.pdf

They were similar but not the same.

I think the only difference was chrome door handles for the 2001, but that could have been for the coach edition

The regular 2000 models did not have wood steering wheels. the platinum series for the 2000 model did. All 2001 models came w/ wood steering wheels. the only difference b/t the 2000 platinum model and the 2001 coach edition was a gunmetal wheel, a little bit more wood trim on the interior, and some coach badges on the exterior.

I really like the Platinum, I almost bought one, black-on-black with all that birds-eye maple...very very nice...too bad it wasn't looked after very well.

Thanks, Kansas, for those very cool links. We don't have that info on Lexus.ca. Who woulda thought to look in the "Contacts" section for vehicle specs?
