Default CD Player won't stop ejecting

I am having a problem with the cd player in my '07 es350. The CD player all of a sudden stopped working (error disc 3), but when I ejected all of the cd's, now the player will not accept anymore and keeps actuating as though it is in continuous eject mode (getting "wait" message and amber light). ANYONE having/had similar issues?

Is the load button broken?

I really can't say. From the sound of the player, and the fact that it seems to want to eject the cd's versus loading, the eject button would be a more plausible explaination. However, the amber light is still blinking for both the load and unload action.

hello I'm not sure if you have gotten your problem fixed with your CD player. I have been a car stereo technician for the last 10 years and have encountered many problems with indash 6 disc players. The two most common inherent problems are No. 1 people using CDs with homemade labels IE stick-on paper labels this is a definite no-no. The second most common problem is dust getting into the mechanism either from dirty CDs or dusty roads. It is always a good idea to keep your CDs clean, they This can be done with soap and water. Either of these problems would require removal of the CD player to repair. Another definite no-no because the damaged parts add up quickly is
if someone has tried to force something into the slot.We have repaired many Lexus CD players if you have someone to pull the unit out you could ship it to us for repair our cost is usually less than one-third the price of a refurbished unit from the dealer and shipping it directly minimizes markups. Most repairs on these are less than $160 if nothing has been abused... we're located in Santa Rosa CA"Daves Auto Radio Repair" 707-579-5350, you can call for a more accurate quote and estimated turnaround time.
