Reprogram 2007 ES350 FOB key

Not sure if I am the first one on CL to have lose one of the fob key, I just ordered one from Sewell and I want to check if anyone knows how to reprogram these fob without going to the dealers. I see there are instruction fore the LS430, IS250/350, but not the ES350......

i just looked through tis for quite a while . i dont show a manual procedure for programming a new transmitter.. why not take it to the dealer .. ? i know i do them for free all the time ..

Can you tell me which dealer that does it for free ?
I was quoted from $45-$120 over the phone by the dealer.
And yes, I do have the other FOB key.

X_X.... wow..... programing shouldnt be that bad.... i wouldnt expect $45-$120.... maybe you should call up one of the service guys and ask what goes on in the process that makes it cost $45-$120 to reprogram a FOB

has anyone checked the owners manual?, my wife lost her fob on her subaru and all i did was buy a new one off the net and go to her owners manual for instructions on reprogramming the fob.

unfortunately I am pretty sure there is no way we can program the ES350 fob by ourselves, fortunately we only lost one of them.
According to Lexus if we lost both fo them it will cost more than $2k to get everything reprogramed again....if you just loose one they can still reprogram the new one while the other one in position.

I am pretty sure that your key will have to be programmed at the dealer or a locksmith that has the software to program the keyfob. I have a locksmith source and they have no instructions to reprogram the keys for an 07 ES350. Sorry!
