ok soo im waxing my car and i go to pull in my car and i have no tail lights!!!
well i have the third brake light but my tail lights dont light up!
soo then i tried turning on my head lights and the tail lights come on but wen i brake i only get the third brake light, the tail lights dont brighten.
It is possible that the brake light filaments in each globe have blown, but the actual tail light fillaments in each globe may still be in tact which may explain why you have tail lights, but no brake lights.
Have you just looked at your existing globes, or actually tested the lights by replacing them with brand new globes?
The reason I say this is because sometimes the globes look like they're ok but a tiny part of the fillament has broken off that can't easilly be seen by the naked eye.
If you have tried this then all I can think of is the fuses - there are fuses both under the hood, and under the dash near the drivers side door. I can't see how it would be those because you say you still have tail lights but not brake lights.
Sorry bud, that's all I can think of at the moment!
OK, one more thing I thought of - (i doubt it would be this, but you never know)
Get a torch and look around the footwell of your car where the brake pedal is. Follow the brake pedal up and press it a few times with your hand - if you look carefully you will see a pin switch near a spring - this pin switch switches the brake lights on when you press the brake pedal. The pin is normally pressed in when the brakes are NOT on. When you press the brake pedal down the pin springs out, activating the brake lights.
Perhaps your pin switch is stuck in, meaning when you put your foot on the brake the pin switch doesn't move out and activate the brake lights.
