CD changer won't play cds "ERR"

I have an Lexus is350 and my cd changer does not work. No error messages and I don't have any cd stuck when I click on cd it just doesn't want to play I was wondering if anybody had any ideas I really would like to keep the stock CD changer I purchased one off eBay and unfortunately the CD player did not work on that one either Thank you Linda
