probably time for timing belt, water pump, crank seal, cam seals... maybe oil pan gasket. check power steering lines, trans pan gasket to start with. rear main might be leaking. check axle seals too.
we used all OEM parts (except some of the bigger stuff- rack and struts) for a reason.
we got ours with 168k, dead engine, for $600 also. at least yours is running
good deal for sure. good luck with it! oh and if you want pics of various states of disassembly in the engine compartment do a search for my es250 threads. i took lots of pics.

iirc the camry had 132k on it when we bought it last year, 140k when it was totalled and we dumped the engine into the es250. it poured oil from the day we bought it.
