Well I bought my 00' ES300 a little over a year ago. It hasnt given me any problems yet (knock on wood). Its a good car, not a race car definitely. But if you like a quiet car that can push when needed the ES300 is a great car.....

The 2000-01's are blessed with the updated front bumper, rear taillights, and HID's. So thats always a plus.

What Mitsu are you looking to purchase in place of the Lex?

had r's since brand new , um a little bit of wind noise because of the framless windows, umm thats all i can complain about , o and if u can find one with he optional h.i.d. headlights, some of em have it not many though if if u want the woodgrain steering wheel, u might as well get a 2001 since it has that and its a year younger. not much of a price difference

the ES is straight. You'll enjoy it. Plus you can drive it rain, sleet or snow.

Buy the Lexus. A 2000 will last a helluva lot longer, and hold its value waaaaay longer than any new Mitsu
My 92 is worth more than my grandfathers 01 Galant with comparable mileage and is much tighter

Cool

lol exactly! great answer!

mitsubishi won't be a car marker within 6 years unless hell freezes over & one of the now money plummeting car companies has a sudden recovery into black ink & buys them outright. they're screwed...

whereass hell could freeze over... triggered by a nuclear winter and toyota would still be a company.

let's face it. toyota's so awesome it has a war named after it. mitsibushi... has ugly tuners cars that are overpriced new, have horrible chrystler transmissions that have not been fixed after being in existance SINCE I WAS BORN, and the only descent engines have bearing / crankwalk problems associated with them on a large scale. *except the newest v6's...

*three year old engines are not old enough to experiance said problems in any numbers... wait another 6 and we'll see if they ever learned their lesson LoL!
