After reading a couple of the feedbacks, about 3 people say it isn't what it's supposed to be. A buyer says that it was a piggy back air flow mod. What's that?
There is a long and lengthy explanation of why NOT to purchase something like this on ebay, but I can't find it, so I'll tell you here.
The contents of this "chip" is a simple resistor. It basically plugs into your IAT sensor which is your air temperature sensor. It tells the engine that the temperature you're running at is much cooler than actual, thus giving you a "boost". It really seems as though it will damage your engine in the long run or maybe even your sensor if you're tampering with the temperature settings and "lying" to your car.
Oh yeah, this is about 1-2$ at a local electrician's store...
