Default Driver side window scratched...

I drive a 92 es300 and i have dark tint on all my windows and my driver window has scratch marks covering all of it. I never noticed before i got the tint put on it. the guy at the tint place said its the window from old age. Is there any way to fix this?

The scratches look similiar to streak marks btw.

If the scratches are on the window underneath the tint, then you will have to remove the tint to remove the scratches, correct?

You can try to buff the scratches out with some compound. Either by hand or machine (better way to go).

Scratches probably came from the rubber seals on your door sills that ride on the sides of the window. Your window has probably been rolled up and down alot in its time.
