Does anyone have a Weapon-R intake on there es300? i wanted to know if it made any difference on performance/gas mileage? is it worth to get, i am thinking about getting the 'secret weapon'. Is it an easy install, any other component needed for install, and what about the intake flow sensor?

I have the Weapon R Secret Weapon Intake on my '94 ES300, and performance wise i gained maybe 3-4 hp and gas mileage i really cant say, i'v got a heavy foot so im averaging about 180 miles each tank . Also it is a very easy install, Just Take old old air box and hose, Do NOT take out the flow sensor, without it your car won't run. Attactch it in the middle between the Pipe and Filter of the Weapon R Intake. It took me about 30 - 45 minutes to install it, and i love the sound it gives, nice and aggressive at high rpm's.

 

1999-2002?... That's odd. In 2002, a different body style ES was produced along with a different engine (as far as i know)... Why would the intake work only up to 2002 and not 2003 then, since the ES300 ran up to 2003.
