Glare does not go down if you raise the kelvin...6k will glare just as bad as 10k. Mercedes use OEM bulbs and OEM bulbs never go higher than 4300k. The bluish/purple you see on a mercedes is the flicker from the projectors. Its the optics and not the bulb, not to mention any kit over 6k is ricer IMO.

I don't think Phoenix meant 55-60w bulbs...I'm not sure what the actual wattage on an HID bulb is, but you can modify the ballasts to put out a higher wattage (I think this is what Phoenix was referring to)
