i was looking to buy a new set of rims will a 18" wheel work with a 35 offset on a 1998 gs

Depends how wide the wheel is...but mostlikely yes

Try PM'ing GS4WILL, someone told me that he's the guy to see for WORK wheels and has the offsets down pat...
