Serious problem, need help ASAP !!
yea im really glad too, lol, and again thanks to evry1 for their feedbak and suggestions. pretty scary tho knowin that any second that coulda jus completely come loose, not cool. from now on, the second sumtins wrong im takin it in, no more waitin lol.
Lucky!!! Brotha you had better say 1000 Hail Mary's and keep a set of rosary beads in the car at all times, b/c someone upstairs was definately looking out for you. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE never do anything this stupid again. You not only put your life in danger, but also the lives of all who were around you while driving. It really isn't worth the risk, nor your life. If you don't want to take the word of your fellow forum members, then remember what your mechanic said. Even he was surprised that you didn't get killed.

Yea trust me Iv been prayin and thankin God evryday for that, ONE bolt man, jus one bolt half unscrewed is what was holding it together !! Now becuz of that i also need to get new tires, while it was loose, it put increased wear on the tire and the entire inside tread of my front right tire is torn, little metal bars are comin out of it, no effin clue wut they are lol, but im gettin new tires today so ill be ok. and of course i trust the word of the CL members, thats y im here, and thats y i posted up my dilemma, the only problem was i HAD to find a way to work and there was no other way since my job is far from my house, but again, thx evry1 for their help and input.
The "little metal bars" are the steel radials in the tire, that is also extremely dangerous to drive with! haha sorry to say again, but I would not drive the car with the tire like that... your tire is about to have a blowout.
Glad nothing terrible happened to you as a result of this dilema. Good luck with your car in the future, glad we could help

Yea lol, the mechanic told me that its ok to drive the car under 50 mph, and for distances under 15 miles. not to get on the turn pike, no hard turns, etc. if i really have to drive the car, so i drove it today to work only, tomorrow it will be getting the tires put on and ill probably be borrowing my grandmothers car till lunchtime, lol.
NO not awesome !! my grandmothers car is a 90 sumtin wtf ford escort that is slow like any typical grandma car LMAO !! i hate drivin it, and its a forest green so i feel like im in a turtle with wheels. o well, ill only have to deal with it for a one-way trip lol, thank God !! sux tho cuz when im at a light i floor it all the way and the other cars still pass right by
. o well, ill update as soon as i put the new tires

OK so i finally put the new tires on. I got all 4 brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position with UNI-T AQ II size 205/65HR/15. They are awesome, car runs super smooth now, alot less road noise than before, and extremely better handling (even in wet weather). Best part is though i dont have to worry bout one blowing out lol. When i had the mechanic change my tires we both realized something neither of us had caught onto before. my front right tire (Passenger) was a different size than the other 3 AND all 4 tires were different brand names with different wear levels
. Whoever owned this car before me was a complete idiot !!
. But now i found out i need to get new CV joints and soon gonna need to replace all the struts. so much $$$$
i guess my rims will have to wait longer.
