My headlights dull when i hit the brake, im assuming because the break lights go on. the car also didnt make any noise at all trying to turn it on 3 times in a row then i waited literally 2 seconds and it started right up, and when i turn the headlights on the dash lights dull also(which might be normal but its my first lexus so i dont know)

anybody have the similar issue and any solutions?

 

battery replacement maybe? do you have a system that draws high output? my car does dim the headlights whenever i use any electronic gadgets in the car while the amp is on

My I recommend you have the battery and charging system checked.

I would suspect the alternator having a problem charging your battery. A poor body ground connection or the battery connection itself.

 

I simply cleaned the battery terminals and the ground wire connections, and the dimming problem disappeared. I still had the battery checked twice – it had perfect readings so I know it and the alternator are fine.

 

Check the battery, check the alt. Upgrade the big 3 wires in the car.
