My understanding is that fuel filters for our Lexus do not need to be replaced for the lifetime of your vehicle.

Cool

Japanese import fuel filters from the last two decades normally don't cause a problem well into the 150-200,000 mile range.

Replace it if you want, they're cheap; just don't expect anything from it.

Default recomended

I though it is recomended as a maintanence.
You get a lot dirt in the fuel.
However, isn't there two fuel filters.
One next to tank, second next to engine.

None of them should be replaced?

Cool

There is one on the fuel line roughly under the airbox in the driver's wheel well area. There is very little debris in fuel from modernized countries. There hasn't been for decades.

There is not even a schedule to inspect the fuel filter, let alone replace it.
