Who's Manuel? Your mechanic?

I have a manual MCV20 and an automatic JCE10. I love em both.

I think flipside is talking about his Solara (same chassis as the '97-'01 ES).

The general rule of thumb is: (and most of us seem to agree)......The more traffic you have to deal with, the denser that traffic is, and the more stop-and-go driving you have to do, the better-off you are with either an automatic or an automanual clutchless transmission.

I hear that!.. Living in Japan can sometimes be a job in itself when wanting to go driving.. I used to drive my Bighorn (Trooper) but the stop start , stop start was nearly killing me... Great car when I go country, but not an effective traffic vehicle... I will never go back to manual transmision while I live here... A couple of trips to the hardware store on the weekend are enough me....
