Default 97 Tailight Conversion

Hi all!

I'm new to this forum and hope to learn everyone's experiences with their lexus! I currently have a 97 ES300. I'm about to convert my taillights to the 00-01 ones and would like instructions for installation. I know a member of this board "El Gato" did this to his ES and also know they will fit the 97 models. Any information regarding the installation is mostly appreciated.

Thanks

Whooaa - $600 is a little steep, In my history of talking to the Lexus mechanics - they only charge up the cost so that customers/owners won't buy the older models and make mods later..

That is not true at all. Who told you that?

Here is where I got it... The shock is only on presumption - I haven't had a grab the phone and check it out for myself.. Come to think of it - That price sounds like something Lexus would say an average ES owner.

What kind of prices did you come across?
