Default Programming Keyfob?

Hey everyone, looking to pick up another keyfob for my car as when i bought it, it only came with the one. Now i have techstream on my laptop, and can probably program it myself.Im just wondering whether i would require a "Flashed" or virgin key hyq14fba because i can pick one up on ebay, or theres some local sellers near me selling Fobs, but i think they havent been flashed so might still be linked with a previous vehicle.
If anyone has bought a good aftermarket Keyless FOB, if they could link me which brand they bought it through please.

Try to get a virginized original fob. I got aftermarket one and it is much slower - I cannot just grab the door handle and pull, I have to wait half a second in between, quite annoying.

I believe the keyfob has to be new "virgin" or "virginized".

However, I do want to add that there is an "upgrade" that some of us have done, where we programmed and use the Lexus Smart Card Key instead.

Here's the post on it. The GS F Card Key works with the vehicle and can be programmed. I find it a lot more convenient to use as I can just leave it in my wallet instead of having to carry around a keyfob.

Default free sync key fob to car

You can sync the new key by yourself. no need for dealer, locksmith or special tool. (works for my RX330) can buy key and cutting service from AliExpress.com. Chip needed for RX330 is ID68. 315MHz.
  1. sit in driver's seat, close all doors
  2. insert and remove a working key in the ignition four times and insert once more, leaving key in ignition.
  3. do not turn the key during the inserting and removing
  4. open driver's door and close six times
  5. security lamp on dash should be solid indicating correct mode (if flashing, start over from inserting and removing key)
  6. remove working key
  7. insert new key, security lamp flashing
  8. wait until security lamp goes dark (60 seconds)
  9. new key is recognized by car and can start engine.
Only five keys can be synced to car. If need to erase all but one key so you can sync additional keys, just insert key in ignition one more time (6x) and open/close door one more time (7x). The key used will be the only one synced, then you can perform the sync with additional keys.

You should not be giving advice like this if you don't know the answer.

RX330 is much older design and most likely the key is programmed much differently. Let's start with the fact that RX330 is a regular key with lock/unlock buttons while 6ES uses a proximity "keyless" fob. There is no way to "insert and remove" ignition key.

The following works on my RX330.

You can sync the new key by yourself. no need for dealer, locksmith or special tool.
  1. sit in driver's seat, close all doors
  2. insert and remove a working key in the ignition four times and insert once more, leaving key in ignition.
  3. do not turn the key during the inserting and removing
  4. open driver's door and close six times
  5. security lamp on dash should be solid indicating correct mode (if flashing, start over from inserting and removing key)
  6. remove working key
  7. insert new key, security lamp flashing
  8. wait until security lamp goes dark (60 seconds)
  9. new key is recognized by car and can start engine
If there are 5 master keys registered with the immobilizer, it won't accept any more (indication might be 2 flashes, pause, 3 flashes when attempting to sync a sixth key), so just do an erase if you can't get it to work after trying for a few times. You have to erase them using a similar method (with just an old working key, insert+remove key one more time [7x] and open+close door one more time [7x], after the 7th close of the driver's door the immobilizer light will stay lighted for one second, remove the old key quickly after that and all but that one you just removed are erased.)
