Have any one bough Lexus key on ebay I want to get extra key for my GX470, Lexus sell it for around $280. Ebay sell it for around $100 with instruction how to program it and you only need to go to locksmith have it cut.

I believe key programming is dependent on when the GX was built. For my 03 GX470, I bought an extra blank key from ebay, then had it cut from my local locksmith for $25. I swapped the guts of the key remote to the new, and I was off running.... no issues.
I think later years like 05+, you may need to get the key programmed.
Good luck!!

Buying a smartkey on ebay may prove to be more of a project than you want to take on. Most dealer shops can't or won't program it for you and not a lot of locksmiths have the needed equipment and knowledge to do the job. And in the end you will end up spending more than you had hoped for.

Thank you all, I think I just go to Lexus and get my key there. It a little bit pricey but what the heck it save me some money and trouble down the road.
Merry Xmas and happy new year to everyone in the forum.
