Default Engine Coolant Temp Sensor wiring

Hello,

Some varmints chewed through the wires on my ETCS connector down to the doghouse. I would like to rewire it to the electrical housing. I have looked at tons of diagrams for wiring and I am not confident as to which wires to splice into. Attached is a picture of where the wires should go. It is a pink and black wire from the sensor. I think they go to the larger black housing but there seem to be several pink wires that dont match any diagrams I have looked at. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the reply. I am not sure how to identify #78 and 79. Is it usually written on the connector? is B12 a type of connector?

Thanks again, I appreciate the help.

This does offer some insight, thank you Tammap. It seems like the wires run from the sensor to the junction box into one of the connectors in my first picture. Those are the wires I am trying to rewire. The tough part is trying to chase them under the air filter housing. I appreciate your time none-the-less. I probably am not explaining the situation correctly.

Thanks anyway,
Ryan

Default Just spliced instead of rewiring

Ended up just exposing the wires a bit more and splicing.
