Default Oxygen Sensor - CEL is still on

2010 ES350, around 80k miles
The code is bank 1 sensor 2 oxygen sensor.
Check engine light and DSC are on.
I changed that oxygen sensor but next day, both lights are coming up again;;TT
I saw similar posting here but couldn't find clear answer from the thread.
Anybody has similar experience or answer please?

In most cases that code has anything to do with the B1S2 sensor. Most of the time the problem is something else.
I never was able to fix this code, also the local Toyota dealership is not any better.

Do you have Techstream to record the engine data so I can compare it with my ES350?

When an O2 sensor goes bad you typically get P0135. Which indicates the sensor is not heating up fast enough.
As indicated above P0138 could mean any number of things. Bad cat. Bad MAF. etc. You need to get this properly diagnosed.

Bad cats trigger P0420/430.
