Good Afternoon
Im looking for the bracket that holds the Headlight Level Sensor for a 2005 Lexus ES330. This is the one on bottom / passenger side.
The bracket rusted and the sensor was dangling by the connector wires. I removed what was left from the bracket by disconnecting the two bolts from the chassis and snapped the bolts, of course. Then, I used some tie-wraps to hold the sensor in place. The dealer wants about $480 for the entire unit. I could not find a used unit.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Thank you Sir.
I wanted to make the bracket out of a piece of aluminum. But I did not know what it looked like originally. But the picture you’re provided looks different from what I have of what remains after the bracket rusted away. The circled area is completely missing.
1pc/set PARTS# 89407-41010 height sensor LIUMO-AUTO, see pic below) for $61 which is used for the ES 350. I thought it would fit. When I received it, the connector would not fit. So, I replaced the sensor with the following part from Amazon (Headlight HeadLamp Level Sensor for 2001-2009 Lexus IS300 RX330 RX400h ES330 ). I used this sensor (basically a potentiometer) and replaced the one that came with the assembly above.
This part give me an error on the dashboard ( the light icon with the beam) So, what I did was I took the backing of the original Lexus sensor, and I put it on this replacement from Amazon one. That took care of the dashboard icon; it went away.
